It started to feel like summer time on the South Bank with the perfect evening for the Garden Gate reception at the OXO2. We brought the outside in for one night only with the recreation of a gnome-filled garden with a 9-hole crazy golf course for guests to enjoy.
Our in-house caterer Create served up some amazing food including lobster po’boy rolls, picnic quail eggs inside a moreish falafel shell, avocado, kiwi and green mango ice lollies and flower show cocktails. Guests were also encouraged to forage for hidden desserts within the garden theming. The edible ‘treasure hunt’ included Pimm’s jelly shots, wild mushroom meringues on edible soil, ladybird brownies and lollipop gnomes.
It was also an opportunity for OXO2 to showcase their new conference box space utilising only the east side of the venue. The space is divided into a catering area, and conference area, with integrated AV for you to hire at competitive prices. Find out more about the Conference Box package here.
