London Illustration Fair

This London fair is now in its fourth year and will showcase the best in contemporary graphic arts. Over 60 illustrators, graphic designers, creative agencies, designers and print pioneers from the UK and overseas will be exhibiting their work across the four storeys of the Bargehouse. With lots of dedicated for workshops, talks and interactive goings on, you will be spoilt for choice. Try your hand at letterpress printing, origami or bejazzling a bauble for Christmas!

Winter Festival at the Southbank Centre

Roll up, roll up, the circus comes to the South Bank! The UK’s leading circus company NoFit State brings BIANCO, an immersive promenade show to the big-top. Winter Market

The annual Winter Market at the South Bank Centre has kicked off earlier this year to help with the festive cheer. Million Dollar Quartet

If you like rockin’ around the Christmas tree then you are in for a treat with Million Dollar Quartet. This musical is inspired by the recording session that brought  together the rock ‘n’ roll legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together for the first and only time. Discover the true story of the night in 1956 that became a defining moment in rock ‘n’ roll history.

Festive Movies at the BFI

We all have a favourite Christmas movie and BFI will be screening a feast of festive movies ranging from the cult to the classic throughout the season. From It’s a Wonderful Life to The Muppet Christmas Carol; Meet Me in St Louis to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D.

BFI and STUDIOCANAL will also be hosting a special screening of Scott of the Antarctic with a Q&A with Sir Ranulph Fiennes. The film is a tale of adventure and daring; beautifully shot by Jack Cardiff with a Vaughan Williams score. Monday 19 December 2016
