Five Events That Transformed OXO2

OXO2 is a contemporary gallery-style space on London’s South Bank. An understated, neutral interior makes the venue the ideal blank canvas, giving clients full flexibility to create unique event designs. Here are five of our favourite OXO2 transformations.

MOET ACADEMY

Moët & Chandon, the world’s most loved Champagne house, took over OXO2 to create an exclusive Champagne Region in the heart of London.

Making full use of the blank canvas potential of this contemporary event space, the Moet Academy transformed the venue, recreating the vineyards of the Champagne region complete with real vines. Clever backdrops bring the outside in, with vineyard-inspired focal points completing the look.

THE LAUNCH OF THE BUGABOO BEE

September saw the launch of Bugaboo’s brand new ‘Bugaboo Bee’ pushchair at OXO2. The event was a star-studded affair, attended by television personality Martine McCutcheon. Theming transformed the blank canvas venue, turning it into a city with innovative vinyl designs and road signs.

AN IKEA DINNER

January saw IKEA host their annual stakeholder dinner at OXO2. The event included an evening dinner and discussion, attended by the group’s management team. Guests also included key patrons, including other retailers, NGOs and academia. The IKEA communication and interior design team provided event staging and design.

F&F FASHION LAUNCH FOR TESCO

Tesco hired the space for two days to showcase brand new collections from its in-store brand, F&F. The event became interactive with the addition of badges, which guests were asked to pin to their favourite garments. Canapés and drinks were served throughout the day.

 

MIELE

Miele, the German manufacturer and global leader in premium domestic appliances, made full use of the events spaces of OXO2, to host a preview event of the brand new Generation 6000 M Touch range.

Miele invited 150 kitchen designers to OXO2 for a preview event that played on the theme of ‘touch’. M Touch has an intuitive touch screen, user interface and understated modern design, so attendees were encouraged to come and experience the technology first-hand. To create an overall sensory experience, award-winning chef, and brand ambassador Nigel Smith created a range of sense-evoking and tempting canapés for the evening.
